37th Annual Toronto International Dragon Boat Festival – June 14 & 15 2025
We always have high hopes for the Toronto Islands regatta as it is -in our opinion- one of the nicest places to race and spend a race day (or two). This weekend looks to not disappoint! Perfect weather, not too hot, not too sunny, not too windy, 5,000 paddlers and tons of other people and a great and relaxed atmosphere. And the best part: you can take a pirate boat to get there! Well, a water taxi, but it beats the lineups for the ferry. A second and a third place result in the first heats is a great start. Even greater when some friends drop by to look you up and cheer you on! There’s a bunch of extra pictures in the gallery just to show how big of an event this is, and how super the location is. Day two, here we come!

Good morning!

Best spot in town, just behind the finish line!

There’s a big audience at this regatta and everyone can get close to the action
